As part of the St. Charles $50 Challenge, the 2nd Grade class has organized a fund-raising Walk to raise money for the “Audrey Hohenwalter Endowment Fund” (at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin). This fund provides education and support for families of children with Velo Cardio Facial Syndrome (VCFS). VCFS is a genetic disorder. It’s the second most common syndrome. Little babies who are born with VCFS are often very sick and need heart surgery. Many also need mouth surgery because they cannot eat or speak well.
This Walk will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, starting at 10:00. All grades at St. Charles School will participate. Families, friends, parishioners, and community neighbors are welcome to join us!
