Dear Parents,

We are now halfway through the 4K year!  I can\'t believe how fast that time has gone.  Next week we will be celebrating the 100th day of school.  I have many great books about this special day.  Speaking of books, we have started visiting the library on Mondays after our World Languages class.  Your child can check out one book at a time.  Therefore, he/she must return a book they already have in order to get a new one.  You can return them any day of the week but I do send them down to the library early Monday mornings.  Our Valentine\'s Day Party will be the next big event of February.  Continue working with your child on their valentines so they can have time to pass them out.  For Mickey Mouse day, we dressed in our Mickey shirts, brought in Mickey Mouse toys, watched a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse video, and ate Mickey Mouse pancakes for snack.  The class really has a fun time with days like this, just like Hat day.  Please send in any Campbells labels or Box Tops for Education with your child before Friday to have them count for the class contest.  I\'m going to keep it shorter today in order to save some for February news.  Have a great week!
