2010-02-18The Saint Charles Little Saints programs will touch the heart, mind and spirit of your child. We believe that we are responsible for helping each child grow to become a lifelong learner. While nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and social devel-opment of the student in our care, we are called to foster each child’s dignity, uniqueness and self-worth as we center learning on Catholic faith and virtues.

Dear Parents,
Wow, our class has really done a lot since the last time I wrote. During "Ss" week, we had a stripes day and read a book called A Bad Case of Stripes. Challenge your child by seeing if they remember what happened in that story in regards to the girl and how she looked and what caused her to look that way. We eat some warm waffles on Wacky Wednesday during the "Ww" week. We just eat in this class!! Speaking of which, on Cinco de Mayo (May 5th), we counted to ten in Spanish, read a story called Cinco de Mouse-O!, and ate delicious quesadillas. My time with the class is quickly coming to an end and I will be so sad to see many faces leaving. However, we still have many fun experiences left to share before the end of this school year. Please check your calendars daily for events of the day. Also, if you can help out at Field Day, we still need many volunteers. It is such a great day for all the students and we can't do it without the necessary people to run the games and the groups. Thank you for bringing in such great shape show 'n tell items. Keep up the great work. Keep track of the list because the shapes change each show 'n tell day. Well, I guess I should move onto my next project now so until we talk again, have a great day!!
