4K Kindergarten

The Saint Charles Little Saints programs will touch the heart, mind and spirit of your child. We believe that we are responsible for helping each child grow to become a lifelong learner. While nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and social devel-opment of the student in our care, we are called to foster each child’s dignity, uniqueness and self-worth as we center learning on Catholic faith and virtues.

Dear Parents and Other Visitors,Our class counted each day of the year and had a special celebration on day "100"! Everybody's 100 posters are on display outside of our room if you haven't seen them yet. Also, we had a special Mickey Mouse day during the letter Mm week. We had many Mickey toys brought in that day as well as several children wearing their Mickey Mouse shirts. Mrs. Ceschi and I surprised the class with Mickey Mouse waffles for snack time. We read Allison's Mickey book and watched a Mickey sing-a-long video. It was a very busy day. During Pp week, we used our 5 senses in making popcorn with an air popper in the room. The best part was the tasting part! Later that week, we played with a parachute in the gym. We have now entered the season of Lent by going to church on Ash Wednesday and getting ashes on our foreheads. The class has also been working on our cross necklaces that we will be wearing everyday at school. It contains 40 beads to represent the 40 days of Lent. I will keep you posted on the exciting events in our class coming up in the third quarter. Have a great week! Miss Ellenbecker
