HAPPY 2012!

SCIENCE

   8th grade:  We begin Physics!  And we will be taking a field trip to examine some of the basic physics principles in action... more will be coming home soon.  Test on Ch 9 the week of 1-9-12.  

    ALSO... we will be having an 8th grade parent's meeting the week of 1-9-12 to discuss end of year plans.  

   7th grade:  We are starting plants.. then will be moving into smaller creatures - insects, sea life, etc.  Test on plants the week of 1-9-12.

   6th grade:  We are still in Ch 10 - the Geologic Time Scale.  We should have a test the wek of 1-9-12.

MATH

   7th grade:  We are working on Ch 5.  This is where we really begin algebra concepts.  Encourage your students to keep at it as the concepts become harder.  There will be a quiz the week of 1-2-12.

   6th grade:  We are starting CH 4 this week.  There will be a quiz the week of 1-9-12.
