6th grade-no hay tarea- we did audio activities and took a quiz
7th grade-We learned the conjugated forms of Jugar, practiced our situation cards, and there's a quiz Tuesday on Ir + a + Infinitives and Jugar.
8th grade- We took a vocabulary recognition quiz and recycled old material for review. No Hay Tarea.
Grade 1- we began a new mini-book to learn sentimientos (feelings) in spanish. We recycled some old material.
Grade 2- We reviewed the weather and began a mini-book. This is new for them as we've never read in Spanish before. They took these with them to practice. We then played a game to practice our weather vocabulary.
Grade 3- Today we are learning family members and reviewing telling time.
Grade 4- We added more verbs to our verb list and got into small groups to have mini-conversations asking one another if they like or dislike an activity. We then played charades with the verbs.
Grade 5- same as grade 4!
I feel very blessed today because I believe we have an experienced Spanish teacher to sub for me while I am on my maternity leave. I met with her today. She is great and I know the students will love having her here while I am out. I will miss everyone while I am gone but will be back the week before Memorial Day.
