Dear Parents, Last month for fire prevention week, we walked around the school hunting for 8 fire extinguishers, 6 smoke detectors, 12 fire alarms with lights, 9 exit signs, and 6 fire pulls (that we said were not toys). We figured our school was pretty well equipped to handle a fire emergency. Now that everyone has their gym shoes in, we are starting to use the gym expecially on rainy days Wednesday through Friday. Last week we played Duck, Duck, Goose and this week we played a ball tag game. Everyone had the chance to be it. Also, we are starting to practice our Christmas concert songs during class. We have a few weeks to really get these songs in our heads. There will be a simple sheep costume idea that our class will be dressing up as for the concert. I will give you details at a later date. Lastly, don't forget to sign up for conferences. I will only be doing conferences on Tuesday afternoon(November 25th) from 2 to 7.
