Happy New Year to all St. Charles families!
As we begin our new year together, a renewed sense of excitement seems to be growing in the classroom!
The students completed their enlarged Wisconsin County "Brochures" to advertise their chosen destination. They are so cool! Each student researched online and created a "virtual trip" which included real life lodging, activities, restaurants, and historical facts of the area. Come take a stroll down our "Walk of Wisconsin" located just outside our classroom. Who knows? You may find your new summer vacation destination!
Our Spring field trips have been locked in. Our state capitol trip to Madison is scheduled for March 8th. We will tour the Capitol and then visit the Wisconsin Historical Museum. More information will come home.
We will also be visiting the YMCA Micklewright Lodge, in East Troy, on April 5th to learn about the making of real maple syrup and Native American history in Wisconsin. I am looking forward to both adventures!
